Day 1 : Mumbai
Arrive Mumbai. Assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon City
Tour of Mumbai. Visit Gateway of India, Prince of Wales Museum (Museum is closed
on Mondays) Fish Aquarium, Jain Temple, Hanging Gardens on the slopes of Malabar
Hills offering nice view of Marine Lines & Chowpatty Beach, Kamla Nehru
Park, Mani Bhawan (Where Mahatma Gandhi used to stay) then to Dhobi Ghat. Also
drive past Afghan Church, Flora Fountain (Bombay nerve-centre), colourful Crawford
Market and Marine Drive. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 : Mumbai - Cochin
Assistance and transfer to the airport for flight to Cochin. Assistance on
arrival and transfer to the hotel. Sunset cruise on the backwaters. Evening
Kathakali dance show. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 : Cochin - Periyar
Morning City Tour of Cochin. Later leave by surface for Periyar. Half day tour
to visit the Dutch Palace, JaiselmerJewish Synagogue, Chinese fishing Nets,
St. Francis Church and the Santa Cruz Church. On arrival check-in at the hotel.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 : Periyar
Morning boat cruise on Lake Periyar to view the Wildlife. (Optional - evening
boat cruise on Lake Periyar). Boat ride on Lake Periyar to watch animals in
their natural habitat. The earliest sanctuary, it was set up in 1934 and forms
part of the mountain ranges, the Western Ghats. Cruising on Lake Periyar,
you are likely to see animals like wild boars, sambars, wild dogs, langur
monkeys and wild elephants. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 : Periyar - Kumarakom
Morning leave by surface for Kumarakom. On arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight
at the hotel.
Day 6 : Kumarakom
Full day free for independent activities. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7 : Kumarakom - Mararikulam
Morning leave for Mararikulam by surface. On arrival check-in at Marari Beach
Resort. Overnight at the resort.
Day 8 : Mararikulam
Full day free on the beach. Overnight at the resort.
Day 9 : Mararikulam
Full day free on the beach. Overnight at the resort.
Day 10 : Mararikulam - Cochin - Mumbai
Morning leave Mararikulam for Cochin airport to connect flight for Mumbai.
Arrive Mumbai meeting and assistance at the airport. Transfer to hotel for
wash & change and dinner. In time transfer to the airport to connect flight
for onward destination.
